Reception

We specialize in making weddings run smoothly, and will work with you to create a timeline that blends dance sets with toasts, special dances, and any other memorable moments you want to create. Of course, we also know how to rock a party and will spin tunes that reflect your personality and appeal to guests of all ages. Your dancefloor will be packed! 

 

Ceremony

Let us create the perfect playlist for when your guests filter into the ceremony space. We can also provide a clear sounding microphone for your officiant, and play songs for your processional, recessional, and everything in between.

Cocktail hour

Choose the perfect background music as your guests mingle among hors d'oeuvres and cocktails, or leave the song choice up to us. Either way, your guests will hear music that they love and played at an appropriate volume.

A. Our presentation is polished and understated, marked by creative seamless mixing and a professional “cheese-free” approach to announcements and microphone work. Your guests are not attending your event simply to see us DJ, and we have no interest in turning your event into a circus. Your dance floor will be packed, but it will be because the DJ selected the perfect songs and mixed them perfectly in just the right sequence – not because they chattered endlessly on the microphone or embarrassingly wrestled your guests onto the dancefloor.

A. From 60’s soul to modern pop and everything in between, we’ve got you covered at any wedding. As an avid music lover, DJ Phil is able to play from a variety of decades so that everyone at a wedding – from ring bearers to grandparents – has an absolutely awesome time dancing the night away. Some of DJ Phil’s favorite genres include: 90s Hip Hop, Salsa, Top 40, House EDM, Country, and Soul.

Q3. Do you use pre-mixed playlists?

A. Never! DJ Phil has honed his skills over the past decade, and mixes both classic and new songs on the fly – creating unique mashups that you and your guests can sing along to on the dance floor.
